Mankato Women’s Night Out is a yearly fundraiser for YWCA Girls programming and a great networking opportunity for women in the Mankato area as well as a chance for 3 women’s networking groups to come together under one common goal.
The event has been held each year since 2000 and was originally founded by three Mankato women's groups: Zonta, Business and Professional Women and Women Executives in Business in recognition of International Women's Day on March 8th. To try to avoid potential weather issues, the event's time frame has been moved several times.
In 2016, Zonta opted to not be a part of the event and the Southern Minnesota Chapter of Women Lawyers agreed to join in their place.
Over the years, the event has been held at many different venues, during different times of the year and has had many different speakers/entertainment and styles.
